- I have some credits toward my degree but have been working for a few years and intend to return to university – may I apply?
At time of application, you must have the required course (Introduction to Psychology) and intend on returning to complete your degree that coming fall. If you do not enroll at York in the fall of the year you are accepted to the program, you will have to re-apply to the YSR program the following year (when you are ready to take credits toward your degree). Note that the YSR program is not intended to be a program that is completed part-time.
- I am not a York student but I want to take this program. What should I do?
In order to apply to this program, you must have at least 60 credits from York University if you are taking a three-year BA/BSc in Psychology. If you do not intend to apply to York for a degree, you could consider applying to Seneca for their Seneca Rehabilitation Certificate Program (main difference is there are no field placement requirements within the Seneca Rehabilitation Certificate Program). For more information, see Seneca Rehabilitation
- I work full-time but would like to take this part-time. Is this program for me?
No, this program is for York Students who are in their second or third year of a three- or four-year degree. This is not a program that can be easily completed on a part-time basis because the courses are only offered once per year in a pre-determined sequence
